Gemma Woodall

Director, Isio

Gemma spends the majority of her time helping sponsors of pensions scheme understand the risks and develop strategies to manage their pension schemes.  She has a large number of not for profit and charitable clients and advises them on the full spectrum of pensions solutions.




Jen Norris

Senior Manager, Isio

Jen advises a range of charities and other sponsors to help manage their pension costs and liabilities, as well as being a financial coach to individual employees. Her career has included a secondment to a charity, meaning she has a unique perspective on the advice she delivers.

Dave Clarke

Managing Director, Interpath Advisory

Dave leads Interpath’s Employer Covenant team. He has over 20 years’ experience as a Restructuring professional and has delivered/overseen over 500 employer covenant reviews. He has regular contact with the Pension Regulator through case work and discussion of application of covenant guidance/legislation. Dave supports a number of Not-For-Profit organisations ranging from charities to research organisations, helping them find long term funding solutions for their defined benefit pension schemes.

Tom Austin

Tom has helped a number of Not-For-Profit organisations deal with interventions from the Pensions Regulator, helping find long term funding solutions that enable charities to continue to meet their charitable purpose.

Neil Smith

Neil has many years of experience advising trustee and employer clients on a wide range of issues, including benefit restructuring projects, employer covenant and insolvency issues and changes in legislation and regulation. Neil heads up CMS’s Pensions Charities Group, which offers clients unrivalled market-leading experience and has a track record of delivering accessible advice on complex issues.

Kate Freeman

Senior Associate, CMS

 Kate has more than 12 years of experience as a pensions lawyer advising clients on both day to day issues and how to adapt to regulatory and commercial changes. Kate has a number of not for profit and charity clients and jointly leads the CMS Charity Pensions Group.
