It's almost time for Isio's Fiduciary Management Conference!

This November, trustees, company sponsors and pensions managers alike will join Isio to discuss the changes to the macroeconomic environment and how this will influence the challenges and opportunities made available to them.
We will be looking at how to navigate through the uncertainty – the merits and pitfalls of a fiduciary approach, the dispersion between providers’ performance and where things can go wrong and understand how best to combat them.

Meet our speakers

Kerrin Rosenberg
Kerrin founded and leads Cardano’s UK team and has overall responsibility for the UK business. Kerrin is widely accepted as one of the UK’s investment thought leaders, playing an influential role in pioneering many concepts that are in mainstream use today, such as liability driven investing, fiduciary management and diversifying assets. Before setting up Cardano in the UK, Kerrin spent 15 years as an investment adviser at Aon Hewitt. Kerrin graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Economics, and qualified as an actuary in 1995.

James Lewis
James joined Mercer in 2010 and has 22 years’ industry experience. As UK CIO, James is responsible for the leadership and oversight of our investment solutions and investment strategy for the UK market. Prior to taking on the role, James was Head of Investment Strategy for our UK delegated solution clients and has experience in a broad range of investment areas including portfolio construction, asset allocation, ALM, journey planning and strategy implementation. He sits on various leadership groups at Mercer, works across multiple client segments and is a member of the Asset Allocation Committee.
James read Economics at the University of Warwick graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in 2001. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) in 2007. In 2016 James was recognised by Financial News' as one of their "40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Asset Management".

Vivek Paul
Vivek Paul, FIA,Managing Director, is Global Head of Portfolio Research and UK Chief Investment Strategist for the BlackRock Investment Institute (BII). The BII leverages BlackRock's expertise and produces proprietary research to provide insights on the global economy, markets, geopolitics and long-term asset allocation - all to help clients and portfolio managers navigate financial markets.
Mr Paul leads BII's Portfolio Research group, which is responsible for developing the core principles and intellectual property that underpin BlackRock's approach to portfolio design, such as capital market assumptions and optimization tools. Vivek is part of BII's Global Leadership team.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Mr. Paul worked at Towers Watson as an investment consultant, where he specialized in advising pension funds and corporate clients on liability hedging derivative arrangements, financial modelling and investment strategy. He began his career at Hewitt Associates in 2005.

Kelly McEvoy
Kelly joined Isio in September 2019. From 2003-2016 she was a trader at the Royal Bank of Scotland before joining Redington where she provided strategic advice to a range of DB pension schemes, varying from £600m to £5bn. Kelly has experience helping Trustee clients navigate journey planning and portfolio construction and has worked closely with in-house pension teams to design and implement new investment strategies.
Kelly lives in South-West London with her husband and two children.

Ian McKinlay
Ian is a Director of Pegasus Investment Services. This business supports pensions clients with investment issues related to governance and execution, especially cost and project control, as well as resourcing.
Ian joined from Avida International, where he was a Senior Advisor advising pension funds on appropriate governance and resourcing models to optimise effectiveness and ensure resilience. Prior to that, he was Chief Investment Officer at Lloyds Banking Group, responsible for £50bn in assets across various pension schemes. Previously, he has also held various senior positions across a range of well known organisations including Aviva, the Pension Protection Fund, Mercer, Aon and PwC.

Michelle Darracott
Michelle joined BESTrustees in 2023 after a number of senior strategy, digital and Liability Driven Investment (LDI) roles in Pensions.
Michelle is a highly accomplished, award-winning senior business leader with a speciality in Pensions, Investments and Technology. Her most recent executive-level role was as Chief Strategy Officer at Smart Pension, where she was part of the core team responsible for a 2000% increase in the company’s growth and its expansion into four continents. Before that, Michelle worked in senior roles at Legal & General Investment Management and spent eight years as a consulting actuary with Hewitt Associates (now Aon).
Michelle has deep investment experience, including being heavily involved in the design, monitoring and reporting of LDI solutions (pooled and segregated) whilst at LGIM. She also has extensive experience of the operation of master trusts and retirement technology following her time at Smart Pension.
In 2021 Michelle was awarded Fintech Woman of the Year and in 2022 was named as one of the top 100 global female leaders in Fintech by Innovate Finance.
