Isio names new leadership team to drive growth in pensions administration
Press Releases
Isio has announced a new leadership structure for its pensions administration business, marking the next stage in bringing Isio and Trafalgar House Pensions Administration (THPA) together following the acquisition completed in August.
Led by Kevin Howard, Partner and Head of Pensions Administration, the new team gives every stage of the client relationship a clear owner, from winning and onboarding new clients through to day-to-day service delivery and service quality. Garry Wake will lead Operations, Dan Taylor will lead Sales, Proposition and Client Management, Chris Smart will lead Client Onboarding and Client Projects, and Clare Maguire will lead Service Quality.
The changes will support Isio’s ambitions for growth allowing Isio to scale operations for the benefit of even more members and to support Isio’s ambitions for growth. They build on the complementary strengths of the two businesses, combining THPA’s track record with larger and more complex schemes with Isio’s national footprint and multi-disciplinary expertise, alongside continued investment in technology, data and the digital experience for members.
Girish Menezes, Partner, who has led Isio’s administration business since Premier Pensions joined Isio, has decided to step back next year after a distinguished career in pensions administration. Girish, who is also President of the Pensions Management Institute, will continue to play an active part in the business over the coming months, working closely with the leadership team on Isio’s growth plans and proposition.
Kevin Howard, Partner and Head of Pensions Administration at Isio, said:
“Bringing Isio and THPA together has given us real scale, deep technical expertise and a shared commitment to supporting the person behind every transaction. This new leadership team is about making the most of that. Every part of what we do has a clear owner, which means quicker decisions, sharper focus and a better experience for the trustees, sponsors and members we support.
“It’s an exciting time for the business. We’re investing in our people, our technology and our capacity to grow, and we want to be bold in challenging how administration has always been done. My ambition is for Isio to be the administration business that clients choose and members trust.
“I also want to recognise Girish, who has done so much to shape our administration business and the wider industry. We’re delighted he’ll keep working alongside the team over the coming months, and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to celebrate his contribution before he steps back next year.”
Dan Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer of Isio, said:
“Pensions administration is foundational to Isio, and our acquisition of THPA was a clear statement of that commitment. With this team in place, we have the leadership and structure to build on it, and I’m excited about what the combined business can achieve for clients and their members as we continue to invest in technology, data and service.”
