What you’ll gain: The opportunity to ‘earn and learn’. Alongside your on-the-job experience, you’ll be supported by a trusted learning partner in developing your technical knowledge and working towards a recognised qualification in Investment Management and Consulting.

What you need to qualify: To be on track to achieving the equivalent to 3 A Levels at Grade C, plus a qualification in Maths and English, equivalent to Grade C or 4 at GCSE, before you start work on your Apprenticeship.

What you’ll gain: A six-week opportunity to gain great experience and insight while developing your workplace skills. Our 2024 internships will run from early July to mid-August 2024. Perform well, and you could get a Graduate job offer without needing to reapply.

What you need to qualify: To apply for a 2024 Summer internship, you’ll need to be on track to start your final year at university in Autumn 2024 and be on track to achieve a 2.1 in your degree.

What you need to quality: You must be in full-time university study, due to start the final year of your degree in Autumn 2025, on track to achieve a 2.1 grading and available to work from September 2024 until August 2025.

What you’ll gain: Graduates will benefit from the best of both worlds: learning from highly experienced specialists while working in a dynamic, young organisation that’s challenging our sector to do better.

You’ll work with a wide range of clients, building technical knowledge and professional skills while helping Isio deliver the best service in our industry. Peers across the organisation will support you, with access to learning and development opportunities.

As an individual, you’ll be connected with a Performance Manager, an informal buddy, and a study mentor to help you progress in your day-to-day work and professional study.

Actuarial & Consulting
Actuarial & Consulting sits at the heart of our advice offering, and how we help our clients achieve greater success. As part of these programmes, you’ll be supported and given study leave to become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Investment Advisory
We provide bespoke investment advice to defined benefit pensions schemes, defined contribution pension schemes, defined contribution master trusts, endowment funds, charities and high-net-worth individuals. If the right investment solution doesn’t exist, we will work with investment managers to create a new fund or mandate that is right.

Pensions Administration
By combining the human touch with state-of-the-art tech, we deliver the best possible experience for each and every member on their road to retirement, and beyond.

Stage 2 – Online numerical reasoning test

If you move to the next stage, we’ll invite you to complete an online numerical reasoning test. This is a key skill needed across all roles at Isio, so it’s important we make sure you’re comfortable interpreting data and statistics.

Please make sure you have a good internet connection and are in a place where you can fully concentrate on the test.

Stage 3 – Online critical reasoning test (for Graduates and Industrial Placements only)

We’ll send this invitation across if your online numerical reasoning test score is positive. Here, we’ll be seeing how you think critically, using logic to draw conclusions and make objective decisions.

Stage 4 – In-person interview

The final stage will be to meet with colleagues at one of our offices for an interview.

During this time, we’ll also arrange a separate meeting to introduce you to one of our recent Early Careers recruits. They’ll be working in the role you’ve applied for, and can give you their first-hand experience and answer any questions you may have.
