Over the past six years, Isio has interviewed the UK’s largest professional independent trustee firms to gain a detailed understanding of market behaviour and emerging trends. Our latest insights show that demand for professional trusteeship remains high, with expectations of further growth as governance standards continue to rise.
Amid sustained project workloads, the progression of DB schemes toward end game and increasing regulatory focus, particularly the Government’s consultation on trustee capability and TPR’s new supervisory framework for professional trustee firms, boards are relying more heavily on professional trustees for independent oversight, navigation on governance issues and complex decisions.
