Alex Owen, Head of Fiduciary Manager Research, Isio
Alex is the Head of Fiduciary Manager Research and a consultant within the Investment team at Isio. He has over 10 years advising schemes on investment and fiduciary strategies, and is responsible for Isio’s unique framework for assessing fiduciary managers. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Aimee Hunter, Deputy Head of Fiduciary Manager Research, Isio
Aimee is an Investment Consultant and Deputy Head of Fiduciary Manager Research. She joined Isio as a Graduate in 2019 and is a CFA Charter Holder. Aimee works on a range of traditional advisory and fiduciary oversight clients, ranging from £10m to £4bn in assets under management. She supports Alex Owen in leading Isio’s fiduciary manager research function.
What is good performance to you?

Good performance means different things to different pension scheme stakeholders, whether it be trustees, sponsors or asset managers. We look at traditional measures of performance via GIPs data, digging deeper into what this can show, and we also look more widely into other performance measures.
Niamh Gannon, Investment Consultant and Fiduciary Specialist, Isio
Niamh is a consultant within the Investment team at Isio and specialises in fiduciary management. She has over 5 years of experience working with schemes from £5m-£7bn. She is also a CFA charter holder.
Steve Wright, Investment Consultant and Fiduciary Specialist, Isio
Steve Wright is an Investment Consultant within Isio’s Investment team and has over 20 years’ experience. Prior to joining Isio Steve spent 9 years as a Client Direct at LGIM, the last 5 years at LGIM he was Head of Fiduciary Client Relationships. Before joining LGIM Steve worked an investment consultant at Aon.

Anthony is an Associate Director and Head of Clients in Isio’s Fiduciary Advisory team. He has experience in advising pension schemes and endowments on investment governance and implementation – ranging from a few million to a few billion pounds in size. Anthony is FIA qualified with 20 years industry experience.
Lorna Taylor, Investment Consultant and Fiduciary Specialist, Isio
Lorna is an Investment Consultant within Isio’s Investment team and is studying towards becoming a qualified actuary. Lorna works on a range of traditional advisory and fiduciary clients and has over 5 years’ experience working in the investment industry.

We’ll also showcase the efforts of our fiduciary team and the wider Isio team in helping our clients navigate these complexities. Our goal is to provide clarity and support for your decision-making regarding illiquid assets.

Ajith is responsible for developing and implementing Isio’s asset class and manager research agenda. He is CFA charter holder with more than 21 years of global experience across asset management and investment consulting.
Nathaniel Lock, Investment Consultant and Fiduciary Specialist, Isio
Nathaniel is a consultant within the Investment team at Isio and specialises in fiduciary management. He has 5 years’ experience within the investment industry, working with DB schemes ranging from £30m – £5bn. Nathaniel is an Investment Management Certificate and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Level 1 holder.

Paula Champion is Head of the Fiduciary Oversight advice team and a partner within our Investment Advisory practice. She has over 26 years of experience working in the pensions industry and has an unrivalled knowledge of different investment governance structures and practically how best to implement them. Paula is lead investment adviser to clients holding assets ranging from £100m, to over £7bn, combining strength in strategic advice with fiduciary oversight.
Emily Reynolds, Investment Consultant and Fiduciary Specialist, Isio
Emily is a consultant within Isio’s investment team, with over 4 years experience providing fiduciary management oversight advice to clients. She works on a range of both traditional advisory and fiduciary oversight clients, ranging in size. She is studying for her CFA certification.

Louisa Harrold, Client Director, ZEDRA
Louisa is a professional trustee and Client Director at ZEDRA. She has been a trustee for the last 4 years, and has over 23 years in the pensions industry, spanning previous roles as consulting actuary and in-house pensions manager. Louisa works with a range of DB and DC schemes, with sponsors in a variety of sectors. Across her current trustee appointments, Louisa works with five different fiduciary management firms.
Chris Wagstaff, Independent Trustee and Senior Visiting Fellow, Finance Faculty, Bayes Business School
Chris Wagstaff boasts 30 years in financial services, specialising in economics, investment, pensions policy, and asset management. From 2014-2024, he was Head of Pensions and Investment Education at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Chris has been a trustee of DB and DC schemes since 2007 and a Senior Visiting Fellow at Bayes Business School since 2004. His work has earned eight industry awards, including Best Environmental Thought Leadership in 2020.
Pieter Steyn, Managing Director, Willis Towers Watson Investments
Pieter, a CFA Charterholder, is Head of GB Clients, Investments at WTW and a member of the Europe Investments Executive Committee. He has been with WTW since 2002, advising a range of clients including pension funds, wealth markets, and insurance companies.
