I am a problem solver and communicator, giving effective pensions advice that considers all stakeholders’ perspectives. This gives my clients the confidence to make decisions that are in the best interests of members. I have a track record in helping pension scheme trustee boards operate more effectively, and passionate about supporting boards to embed principles of equity, diversity and inclusion into their operations. Advising both trustees and corporates helps me to see the bigger picture and give balanced advice.

Whoever my client, my style is to work collaborative with all stakeholders and other advisers. I am often brought in to undertake a specific strategic role, for example leading on GMP equalisation projects or supporting clients in their end game planning. With so much to do, the key for both trustees and corporates is often understanding how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together into an overall strategy.

Many of my appointments are working alongside the Scheme Actuary, investment adviser and administrator to determine which bits of the jigsaw to complete first. My role leading Isio’s Trustee Board Effectiveness proposition compliments this. I firmly believe you need an effective board equipped to make considered and timely decisions and with robust risk management in place.
