International Women’s Day

This year, International Women’s Day looks to forge worldwide conversation on gender equity.

Recognising that people start from different places, International Women’s Day 2023 wants to get everyone talking about how, for a truly equal society, “equal opportunities are no longer enough”.

Definition: Equity is the goal of diversity and inclusion. Meaning everything is fairly and evenly distributed to people no matter their race, gender, physical ability, or other personal circumstances. Equity is about creating fair access, opportunity, and advancement for all those different people. It’s about creating a fair playing field.
